Murdok and his friends fought the enemy bravely, but in the end his entire team, dozen men in heavy armor, were killed and eaten by rakghouls. He was the only one who survived and was able to return to Brejik's Run outpost. Shortly thereafter, a group of Republic operatives Republic Operatives Organization Temporary Unions visited the outpost, and Murdok told them of his mission and asked them to take it upon themselves. The operatives agreed - especially since the Jedi were involved - and dealt with the rakghouls in the Tularan Mrash, finding out Mission to the Northeast Tularan Region Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) what happened to the expedition.
